Hard to Say Not Knowing

A novella in stories, Hard to Say Not Knowing is the chronicle of a partial family history through writing that permeates with Iowa Stubbornness and the sharp, bleakness of the American Midwestern Sensibility. The search for a language found in the mess of family ties and stories that come from things misspoken, from missunderstandings and missteps.

Written, designed, and printed in an edition of 25 to fullfill the requirement of Image Text Ithaca’s thesis publication.

Excerpts of Hard to Say Not Knowing are published in Joyland, New York TyrantPost Road, and Hotel.
